Well. I took my kid out for a ramble earlier that day, not sure I would make it to the actual trail later in the evening. Turns out my 6 year old daughter is more of a boss than all you wankers, who I heard complaining about 6999969 times whilst we wound around and around the trails of Big River being trailed by Amish and his new Hound of the Hashkervilles. She had a great time and refused to stop for a snack until we found the beer.  The first time I followed trail, it was a lovely sunny and quiet day. My kid was impressed by the sneakiness of Amish. We found the beer stop and she left behind a note for the hashers. I returned home and accomplished some tasks. Hey all you snow bunnies, according to the National Weather Service, there may be as much as 9" of snow on the ground for this Monday's hash trail. That means a live hare, because all that snow is allegedly going to appear in the 6-8 hours before the start, so get those snow shoes ready.
